Getting anywhere from Abode - The Apartment Hotel is easy.

Your feet will take you to the Gungahlin Marketplace with pubs, clubs, shops and restaurants as well as to adjacent Gungahlin suburbs and parklands.

If you have your own car, nearby arterial roads and abundant roundabouts will take you quickly into Canberra City, the Parliamentary Triangle, the national institutions and beyond.

For those wary of roundabouts ACTION Buses run many routes via the nearby Gungahlin Marketplace that will take you to other Canberra town centres while the REDEX express bus will take you to Canberra City in no time. ACTION offers day and week passes as well as off-peak travel cards and seniors discounts.

If you’re feeling particularly energetic – or just look good in lycra – Gungahlin and Canberra boast excellent cycleways, both on and off-road, and peddling your way around Canberra through its scenic bushlands will give you a different perspective of the city.
